Congratulations to our 172 students in our 2016 cohort who took IGCSE examinations in 15 subjects and recorded outstanding results. We are particularly delighted that 2 of our students have gained the highest mark in Malaysia for Cambridge IGCSE Foreign Language Arabic.
IMAS was awarded the prestigious 4-Star Quality Standards Award for Private Education Institutions (SKIPS) by the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
The award is accorded based on the Ministry’s assessment of 10 criteria including Establishment and Registration, Institutional Management, Curriculum Management, Teaching and Learning, Assessment / Examination Management, Teachers’ Management and Development, Discipline, Standards, Cleanliness and Cheerfulness, and International Teaching Management.
The Ministry of Education’s 4-Star rating is the second highest rating and is awarded to institutions with especially high results. The SKIPS award reaffirms IMAS as one of the best international schools in the Malaysia and its commitment to Academic Excellence.
Kangaroo Math Competition (KMC) is an annual international math competition for primary and secondary school students. The KMC is the largest math competition in the world with more than 6 million participants annually, from 69 countries. The contest originated from France and is administered globally by Association Kangourou sans Frontieres (AKSF)
Our students have proudly won Gold and Silver medals in this prestigious competition, and have received honorable mentions.
